Catering

We cater events large and small at the venue of your choice. We are available for weddings, corporate events, etc. Our kitchen is on wheels so you can be assured of a fresh, hot meal.

About Us

  

Jaime was born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador. As the oldest of 9 he was in charge of the family farm, milking cows every morning before heading off to school. Growing up on a farm taught Jaime a love and respect for food. Jaime came to the US in 1983 to escape the civil war. In 1985 he completed an apprenticeship at the Hyatt Hotel in Dallas. Jaime transferred to the Harvey Hotels where he became the Executive Chef at the Bristol Suites Hotel.

Julie grew up in Wimberley on her family ranch land. She attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a degree in hotel/restaurant management. After graduating she worked in the sales department of the Bristol Suites hotel where she met Jaime. Julie says it was love at first sight. “Whenever I would walk by the kitchen, Jaime would have a crowd around him, he is always the life of the party.” They married in 1997 and moved to Austin where Jaime received the position of Executive Chef at Barton Creek Country Club - Lakeside. As Exec. Chef at Barton Creek, Jaime catered parties for George Bush and Lady Bird Johnson. Jaime also served as Exec. Chef at world-renowned resort Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas. There he served guests such as Jaclyn Smith, Steven Spielberg, Mel Gibson, and Will Smith. 

Chef Jaime & Julie created Circle C Café & Catering in 2000. They operated the café in the neighborhood featuring nightly gourmet specials along with pizzas, and burgers. In 2003 they were invited to operate the café at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center serving soups and salads. Catering was the main focus of their business and most weekends you would find them serving weddings. Chef Jaime & Julie were honored to be the caterer for the Catholic Diocese of Austin from 2003 to 2018. 

After 18 years, Chef Jaime & Julie felt called to return to Julie’s family ranch in Wimberley. They sold their Circle C business to a lovely couple and moved in 2018. 

Chef Jaime has a passion for food and couldn’t hang up his apron so he purchased a custom built food trailer. Although they are looking for a more simple life they are anxious to get back in the business of serving others.
